The Alex Galanis Charitable Foundation

In Memory of a beloved husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend

Welcome to the Alex Galanis Charitable Foundation

Welcome to the Alex Galanis Charitable Foundation, an umbrella charity set up to honour the memory and everlasting generosity of Alex Galanis.

The foundation raises money for a selection of charities that support causes dear to Alex’s heart and those of his family.

The Alex Galanis Memorial Golf Day takes place on Sunday 5th August. Suitable for players of all standards and those preferring to simply wine and dine before our fantastic charity auction takes place. The day is open to family, friends, industry colleagues and even those you just fancy a hack for a good cause. Packages start from £50 and you’ll be supporting three amazing charities dear to Alex’s heart.

These include:

Dandelion Time – – a charity based in Kent, close to the Galanis family home geared towards working with children and young people struggling with significant emotional and behavioural difficulties often resulting from traumatic experiences and challenging life circumstances. The charity provides a restorative, developmental and therapeutic service for children and their families in a natural, nurturing environment from it’s rural farmstead location near Maidstone in Kent. Riders for Health – – Riders is an award-winning social enterprise. They are working to make sure all health workers in Africa have access to reliable transportation so they can reach the most isolated people with regular and predictable health care. The Foundation plans to hold various fundraising events throughout the year, so please stay tuned to the website for further details. Membership details will also be announced in due course.
